BECOME AN AMBASSADOR!
As we continue to grow, we need dedicated people who can help spread our message and increase awareness of our movement. Being an ambassador is the perfect way to support our mission. Whether you want to get involved in person or represent our cause online, anyone who shares our core values can become an ambassador.
An ambassador’s tasks may include, for example:
- Follow us on social media and commit to sharing as many of our posts as possible. You can find us as @StopToppsHungary on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Visit local venues and introduce them to the StopTopps initiative. This could be a local pub, university, or even a medical practice.
- Do some research in your area. What are the most popular bars and clubs? Where do your friends, family members, and acquaintances usually go out?
- Talk to your friends and family. Raise their awareness about the dangers of drink spiking. One in ten people has already had their drink spiked, and among students, one in three has been a victim. It’s also considered drink spiking if someone secretly adds more alcohol to a person’s drink — everyone should know this!
- If you’re at university, reach out to the student union and the bars popular among students. Try to understand how serious the issue is and discuss ways to support the campaign together.
- Start a community fundraiser to collect money for StopTopps drink covers and help make them available to those most at risk. The fundraiser can support a specific location, street, city, or even a wider area.
